Job Summary

Operate, maintain, and upgrade CICS services within an IBM mainframe environment. Oversee deployment, planning, configuration, and testing, including out-of-hours troubleshooting and 2nd/3rd level support for applications using CICS. Install and test new CICS versions, manage resource definitions, performance monitoring, backup/recovery planning, and storage/archiving procedures. Provide technical assistance to developers and application support teams and support user access/security needs.

•Install, administer, and maintain CICS systems software and related resource definitions
•Support and maintain CICS production, including out-of-hours troubleshooting
•Provide technical assistance to developers and application support teams
•Design and develop new hardware and software technology solutions
•Install and test new CICS versions; provide 2nd and 3rd level application support using CICS

Key Requirements

•10+ years’ CICS System Programmer or Technical Specialist experience
•Proven knowledge of CICS Transaction Server 4.2 and/or 5.3
•Proven knowledge of SMP/E
•Proven knowledge of Omegamon/CICS
•Proven knowledge of ACF2 and RACF
