Key Responsibilities

  • •Design portions of engineering solutions, including methods, operation sequences, and processes for manufacturing parts, component sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
  • •Develop and maintain manufacturing processes for new products across the product lifecycle to drive prioritization and resolution of manufacturing issues.
  • •Develop, establish, deliver, and distribute manufacturing documentation supporting product design, configuration, and build requirements.
  • •Implement and execute time standards, production area layouts, and requirements for manufacturing tooling and processes.
  • •Identify improvement opportunities (e.g., tool availability, cycle time, utilization, cost), solve manufacturing problems, and communicate findings internally; manage relationships with outsourced partners on deliverables, quality, schedules, and costs.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience demonstrating competence.
  • •Typically 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in engineering design and solutions or a related field.
  • •Design manufacturing methods, operation sequences, and processes based on established engineering principles and provided specifications.
  • •Establish and maintain manufacturing processes for new products throughout the product life cycle to address manufacturing issues.
  • •Use technical experience and judgment to identify and solve problems in straightforward situations, with attention to detail.
