Job Summary

Senior Civil Engineer – Rail delivering rail track and civil infrastructure designs across feasibility, concept, detailed design and construction support. You will lead multi-disciplinary collaboration, provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, manage deliverables and budgets, and contribute to proposals and client engagement across major rail programs.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver rail track design solutions across feasibility, concept, detailed design and construction support phases.
•Undertake and review track alignment, rail geometry, formation and drainage design.
•Coordinate with signalling, systems, overhead wiring, structures, geotechnical and civil teams to deliver integrated project outcomes.
•Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and developing engineers.
•Manage project deliverables, budgets and programme requirements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
•Approximately 10+ years' experience in rail track engineering within a consulting, contractor or client environment.
•Demonstrated experience delivering rail infrastructure projects in Australia.
•Strong understanding of rail track design principles including alignment, geometry, formation and drainage.
•Proficiency in OpenRail, 12d, Civil 3D or similar rail design software.
