Job Summary

Support clients with project finance and business case advisory to develop, implement, and optimize procurement and funding strategies aimed at sustainable Net Zero outcomes. Advise across the programme lifecycle on business case development and infrastructure delivery using private capital, assess business challenges, tailor tools and processes, and present clear outputs. Work within a multidisciplinary advisory team, deliver excellent client care, and help progress business generation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

•Support clients in developing, implementing, and optimizing procurement and funding strategies for greener, sustainable outcomes aligned to Net Zero targets.
•Advise on factors influencing programme set-up, development, and delivery across the programme lifecycle, with emphasis on business case development and major infrastructure development using private capital.
•Assess business challenges, develop an optimal solution, and support implementation using established processes, tools, and systems tailored to client circumstances.
•Collaborate within a multi-disciplined team to deliver a holistic professional advisory service across major programmes, ensuring quality and excellent client care.
•Present ideas and outputs clearly and concisely, support adoption and realisation of business outcomes, and contribute to business generation opportunities as appropriate.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Masters or MBA qualification (or equivalent experience) would be advantageous.
•Experience in project finance and/or business case development, preferably in de-carbonisation and Net Zero.
•Experience working with the public sector, including managing transactions/projects in a public sector delivery setting across sectors.
•Understanding of UK policy guidance and economic benefit assessment, including social value, community benefits, and low carbon transition.
•Experience in de-carbonisation and Net Zero services/technologies such as hydrogen, electric/zero-emissions and hybrid transport infrastructure, batteries (including storage), and carbon capture storage.
