Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, steer, monitor, and control the P&C workers accident portfolio to achieve profitable growth and financial targets (e.g., combined ratio and operating profit).
  • •Develop underwriting strategy and guidelines for the assigned WAC line of business and ensure faithful execution with Underwriting.
  • •Manage exceptional UW referrals outside the SME and Midcorp Underwriters perimeter and support facultative reinsurance needs with Reinsurance.
  • •Define and execute technical product and pricing development for the full WAC proposition in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • •Track macroeconomic developments (e.g., inflation) and translate them into effective portfolio management, representing Technical P&C Midcorp in internal and external initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in an economics/business orientation.
  • •Proven track record as an Underwriter in Workers Accidents or in portfolio steering.
  • •Experience with project management, including leading and steering projects in a large organization.
  • •Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
  • •Comfort with initial experience in AI, Excel, dashboarding, and working with figures.
