Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate planning, permitting, field operations, and silviculture activities in compliance with OHS, forestry legislation, and company environmental and management requirements
  • •Lead development of seasonal harvest plans aligned with strategic fiber objectives, stewardship requirements, and fiber quality targets
  • •Oversee implementation of strategic and operational plans, including cost-effective management processes and deployment strategies
  • •Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, delivering on annual budgets and monthly cost projections

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 10 years forestry experience
  • •University degree or technical diploma with RFT or RPF designation
  • •Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills to collaborate across the organization and supply chain
  • •Ability to plan and manage time, adapt to change, and deliver results against key performance indicators
  • •Excellent knowledge of applicable BC legislation and policies, with proficiency using forestry applications and related software
