Job Summary

Operate heavy equipment used in road, site, and highway construction and paving. Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations, complete daily pre- and post-inspections with required documentation, and perform minor servicing and maintenance while escalating major issues to the foreman. Assist with asphalt-related labor such as shoveling materials and supporting asphalt finishing machine tasks, follow foreman directions for each project, and perform general labor as needed in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in road/site/highway construction and paving.
•Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
•Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; refer major problems to the foreman.
•Perform daily pre-and-post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
•Assist with asphalt-related duties such as shoveling asphaltic materials and supporting maintenance of an asphalt finishing machine, and perform general labor duties when necessary.
