Senior Software Engineer, Backend (Consumer - Growth Foundations)

Build and scale the backend systems behind Coinbase growth initiatives, including notifications at scale, incentives/referral platforms, user targeting, lifecycle communications, and ML ranking that power over half of Coinbase web and app surfaces. Design resilient distributed services for high QPS, low latency, and reliability, partner cross-functionally on quarterly roadmaps, and lead experimentation (A/B tests) to drive measurable improvements in acquisition and retention.
