Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, build, and support a team to deliver traffic analysis, forecasting, safety studies, traffic simulation, and conceptual planning/design.
  • •Develop plan sheets, specifications, and estimates, along with technical memoranda, reports, and other project documentation.
  • •Support ITS or emerging technology projects using the systems engineering process.
  • •Serve in various roles on traffic/ITS projects (e.g., project manager, technical leader, expert advisor, or quality control).
  • •Provide technical leadership and supervision, coordinate with internal disciplines and external clients, and deliver tasks on schedule and budget with little supervision.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related) and a minimum of 8 years of related experience (or equivalent education/experience).

  • •Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) experience.
  • •Professional Engineer license in Iowa or Nebraska (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
