Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive supplier process improvements using CORE tools such as Standard Work, DIVEs, and mistake proofing to promote continuous improvement.
  • •Coordinate supplier escapes resolution with Pratt & Whitney Engineering and Supplier Engineering and execute supply chain quality improvement plans.
  • •Support Vendor Corrective Action Board (VCAB) reviews and establish VCABs with critical suppliers to initiate and execute improvement projects.
  • •Improve suppliers’ quality signature and help ensure customer confidence through proactive quality initiatives.
  • •Use quality tools and problem-solving principles to analyze issues and guide corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • •Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
  • •Experience with quality procedures and quality management systems in aerospace (including AS9100 and regulatory requirements).
  • •In-depth understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9000 quality systems compliance for aerospace and related industries.
  • •Proficiency with quality tools such as PFMEA, DFMEA, GR&R, and GD&T.
