Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial close activities, including journals, accruals, prepayments, allocations, cut-off, and reconciliations.
  • •Maintain general-ledger integrity across multi-entity structures, including chart of accounts, accounting calendars, close checklists, and supporting documentation.
  • •Prepare and consolidate accurate financial statements, trial balances, schedules, and management reporting packages in accordance with applicable standards and group policies.
  • •Analyze balance-sheet and profit-and-loss movements, explain material variances, and escalate unusual or control-sensitive items to Finance leadership.
  • •Design, operate, and improve accounting controls across close, reporting, master data, access, segregation of duties, and record retention.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience, including at least five years in a supervisory/management role.
  • •Deep knowledge of IFRS, general ledger, consolidation, intercompany accounting, internal controls, statutory reporting, and audit requirements.
  • •Lead demanding close cycles (monthly/quarterly/annual) and resolve complex accounting issues while meeting fixed deadlines.
  • •Apply technical accounting guidance to complex/non-routine transactions and document recognition, measurement, presentation, and disclosure conclusions.
  • •Experience in alternative asset management/private equity (preferred) and strong cross-border exposure (preferred).
