Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform conceptual, basic, and detailed electrical engineering design, including development of layouts, design basis reports, equipment and cable sizing, and calculations (voltage drop, earthing, lighting, relay settings, cathodic protection specs).
  • •Develop electrical system modeling (grounding, load flow, short-circuit, arc-flash) and support protective relay setting development, calculation, and coordination studies.
  • •Prepare technical bid analysis, quantity and cost estimation (BOQ), develop scopes of work, conceptual design, and execution plans.
  • •Review and manage vendor documentation/drawings and support equipment specifications, procurement activities, and factory acceptance testing support.
  • •Review electrical deliverables (diagrams, schematics, interconnection drawings, equipment layouts, cable/panel schedules, grounding and lighting layouts) and provide technical guidance while following QC and health & safety processes.

Key Requirements

  • •6-10 years of experience in electrical engineering.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (master’s preferred).
  • •Experience in electrical basic and detail design, including electrical layouts, equipment and cable sizing, and voltage drop calculations.
  • •Sound knowledge of IEEE, IEC, and relevant AU codes and standards.
  • •Proficiency with electrical engineering software tools such as ETAP, plus grounding, load flow, short-circuit, and arc-flash analysis modeling.
