Job Summary

Security Engineer at Cognition will own security across AI-native developer tools, including sandboxed execution surfaces and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

•Secure the agent execution surface by designing and hardening sandboxing, isolation, and runtime controls for safe execution of untrusted code and tools
•Own product and infrastructure security through threat modeling, secure design reviews, and vulnerability management across Devin, Windsurf, and underlying infrastructure
•Build security tooling for engineers, including secrets management, identity and access, dependency security, and detection integrated into the shipping process
•Lead incident response and detection, building the detection pipeline and turning events into systemic improvements
•Drive customer trust by collaborating with go-to-market and legal teams to support compliance and customer-facing security controls
