Job Summary

Perform refrigeration/boiler technician duties on the 2nd shift, assisting maintenance personnel and working with operations to keep equipment running safely. Hold a high-pressure boiler license (ASOPE or NIULPE Power Engineer) and/or attain RETA certification. Plan and conduct equipment repairs, perform routine audits and inspections, troubleshoot issues, and respond to emergency work while following safe work practices and food safety/good manufacturing practices.

•Plan and conduct equipment repairs as part of a team.
•Conduct routine audits and equipment inspections.
•Troubleshoot equipment issues and demonstrate troubleshooting abilities.
•Respond to unplanned/emergency work requests and follow safe work practices, food safety, and good manufacturing practices.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED plus completion of a formal trades training program (or equivalent education and maintenance experience).
•2+ years of industrial maintenance experience with comprehensive knowledge in three or more areas such as ammonia refrigeration, engine/boiler systems, motor controls, controls & instrumentation, PLC, pneumatics/hydraulics, mechanical systems, predictive maintenance, maintenance planning, site utilities, troubleshooting, pipefitting/welding, machining, or metal fabrication.
•Have (or be able to attain) RETA certification.
•Have High Pressure Boiler License (ASOPE or NIULPE Power Engineer) before performing the role.
•Basic computer skills; ability to work independently and be willing to work all shifts, extended hours, and weekends.
