Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely and efficiently deliver equipment, products, and materials to customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • •Operate vehicles according to applicable state and federal transportation laws, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas, following loading crew signals.
  • •Load and unload goods and materials using specialized equipment when needed; return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain delivery paperwork (invoices and bills of lading) and perform routine service such as checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; report malfunctions.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold a commercial drivers license or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight operated.
  • •Must pass background and drug testing required by applicable federal and/or state DOT regulations.
  • •Must pass a DOT physical (vehicles driven are over 10k lbs).
  • •Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and remain seated in a trailer cab for long periods.
  • •Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
