Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and maintain Layer 2, network management, monitoring, and security features using C, C++, and Python.
  • •Gather requirements from customers, product managers, and field engineers and translate them into functional specifications.
  • •Own all aspects of software development and delivery.
  • •Build automated tests and supporting infrastructure to test features.
  • •Troubleshoot and resolve customer and support-reported network problems and collaborate with system test engineers to fix issues.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in CS/EE/CE + 3 years experience, an MS + 1 year experience, a Ph.D., or equivalent work experience.
  • •Proficiency in C or C++ and Python.
  • •Software development experience with Linux and understanding of software engineering principles.
  • •Strong problem solving and software troubleshooting skills.
  • •Knowledge of layer 2 protocols (e.g., 802.1X, MACsec, LACP, STP) and network management/monitoring protocols (e.g., AAA, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, SFlow, IPFIX, OpenConfig) is a plus.
