Own and evolve Owner’s AWS-based Kubernetes platform and the infrastructure powering its engineering organization. •Design, build, and operate core infrastructure with an emphasis on reliability, security, and ease of use.
•Own and evolve a Kubernetes-based platform on AWS, improving deployment, scaling, monitoring, and production security.
•Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that are fast, reliable, and easy to reason about to increase confidence and velocity.
•Improve developer experience by identifying pain points in development, testing, deployment, and observability, then automating self-service workflows.
•Improve operational excellence with better monitoring, alerting, incident response, and post-incident learning; embed security into infrastructure and delivery pipelines.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 190,000 - 240,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Deep experience operating production systems in the cloud, particularly AWS, supporting critical customer-facing workloads.
•Strong Infrastructure as Code experience, ideally using Terraform, to define, version, and manage cloud infrastructure across environments.
•Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes in real-world environments, including deploying, operating, and troubleshooting at scale.
•Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, with an understanding of how workflow decisions affect developer velocity and reliability.
•Empathize with developers and be motivated to eliminate pain points like slow builds, brittle deploys, unclear ownership, and noisy alerts through system design.
