Job Summary

Monitor and remove poor-quality shell eggs from production equipment and pack cartons, cases, racks, or trays in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure product quality meets or exceeds USDA requirements, follow USDA/Good Manufacturing Practices, SQF, HACCP, and food defense programs, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Report mechanical issues and recurring packaging problems to leadership and assist with training other team members as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure packed product meets or exceeds USDA requirements and remove poor quality eggs properly and efficiently.
•Comply with USDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices, SQF, Safety Programs, Biosecurity Policies, Plant Procedures, HACCP, and Food Defense Programs.
•Pack quality eggs by checking dates/codes/color so cartons are accurately coded and labeled; remove cracked/dirty eggs and replace.
•Maintain a clean and orderly work area and dispose of eggs/trash properly.
•Report mechanical problems and recurring packaging issues; assist with training and complete additional assigned tasks.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 14 - 16 hourly

•No prior experience and/or training required.
•Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
•Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task in a high-stress environment.
•Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
