Job Summary

Support the promotion and maintenance of environmental safety and health programs across regional Florida offices. Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and jobsite visits with technicians; maintain OSHA/DOT and other regulatory compliance records; lead safety committees and investigations; and coordinate ongoing safety training, PPE standards, and safety data analysis using Benchmark|Gensuite and other EHS platforms. Cover the region with up to 60% travel, balancing administrative compliance work with on-site support.

•Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and jobsite visits with technicians at customer sites (service and contracting).
•Maintain safety, occupational health, and environmental records in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements and Trane procedures.
•Analyze safety data to coordinate continual improvement efforts and participate in Lean processes (Regional EHS A3).
•Support safety training, investigations (injuries/near misses/incidents/accidents), safety committees, and use EHS platforms to assign/monitor inspections and action items.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, or Safety Sciences/Engineering (related field preferred).
•1+ safety-related professional certification desired (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHSM).
•Minimum 3 years of practical environmental health and safety management experience at a medium-large site preferred.
•General knowledge of Cal-OSHA (preferred), EPA, MSHA, and DOT.
•Experience interpreting federal, provincial, state, local, environmental, and safety standards; strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) and EHS data systems (e.g., Gensuite).
