Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the GSS, Mechanical Fabrications commodity across Collins Aerospace business units.
  • •Manage sourcing from RFQ through contract signature and develop strategic plans for commodities/suppliers.
  • •Act as the point of contact between Collins’ India regional team and India suppliers.
  • •Support negotiations and contract administration with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives.
  • •Analyze quote and supplier cost data to develop negotiation strategies and prepare negotiation workbooks for approvals.

Key Requirements

  • •BE or Masters degree and minimum 12+ years of relevant experience in supply chain/procurement.
  • •Read and understand drawings and other engineering documents, including complex statements of work (SOWs).
  • •Prior price analysis experience to support negotiation strategies.
  • •Experience directly managing supplier relationships and supplier negotiations/administration of contracts.
  • •Experience with international procurement, including RFQ-to-contract sourcing and strategic supplier development.
