Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist with post-show sorting of recycling, composting, and landfill materials.
  • •Serve as an ambassador to band members to help them understand their role in venue sustainability goals.
  • •Support employee engagement programs including water bottle refill punch cards, post-show sort giveaways, and new ideas.
  • •Engage fans and encourage participation in sustainability programs through activities or education.
  • •Participate in Zero Waste Captain training.

Key Requirements

  • •Participate in something with a real and immediate impact to sustainability.
  • •Work well with other departments and collaborate effectively.
  • •Experience in events is preferred; zero-waste events experience is a plus.
  • •Be able to walk, bend, reach, stoop, and lift/carry 50 lbs.+ for extended periods while sorting materials.
  • •Demonstrate a positive attitude, teamwork, and the ability to execute sustainability programs.
