Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems for rental and customer equipment and tools.
  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts to diagnose issues faster using real-time data.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and maintain accurate paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed daily.
  • •Use technology (laptops and tablets) to support diagnostics, work orders, and service tracking, and assist with training lower-level technicians as needed.
  • •Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts; travel to customer job sites for repairs/maintenance when required.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and demonstrate advanced mechanical aptitude with knowledge of schematics/diagrams.
  • •Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with ability to diagnose issues and determine root causes and corrective actions.
  • •Must have superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • •High school diploma is required (trade school certificate preferred); field service, maintenance, and repair experience is preferred.
  • •Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and meet physical requirements.
