Job Summary

Drive factory supply and demand by managing MRP schedules and coordinating controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements. Analyze material availability, communicate priorities and WIP status, troubleshoot MRP exceptions, and resolve material shortages impacting product build. Lead hardware cycle counts and ensure subassemblies are available at point of use, collaborating across Logistics, Engineering, Quality, and manufacturing engineering to process non-compliant material and maintain system health.

Key Responsibilities

•Evaluate and coordinate program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.
•Analyze material availability to support contract requirements, communicate factory priorities, and identify barriers and solutions to meet program goals.
•Provide status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure personnel and materials are provided as needed.
•Release planned requisitions or shop orders based on master production schedule, shop load, and inventory availability.
•Report on and troubleshoot MRP system-generated exceptions, take corrective action, and perform hardware cycle counts to ensure subassemblies are available at point of use.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.
•Experience in material planning, order execution, and program management.
•Proficient in SAP and familiar with government contracting requirements.
•Solid understanding of production and planning control fundamentals, including MRP, inventory management, and Lean Manufacturing.
