Job Summary

Lead Sonar’s product marketing narrative for agentic software development, owning positioning and messaging grounded in customer outcomes. Build and evangelize the AI/agentic SDLC point of view through hands-on use of tools like Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Windsurf. Represent Sonar publicly through customer-facing presentations and major events, energize sales with enablement, and align go-to-market across Product, Engineering, Sales, Demand Gen, Customer Success, PR, and Analyst Relations.

Key Responsibilities

•Own Sonar’s positioning and messaging hierarchy for the Sonar platform, based on customer outcomes across the customer journey.
•Build and evangelize Sonar’s point of view on agentic SDLC, including AI coding tools, coding agents, and LLM-generated code.
•Deliver compelling customer and prospect presentations and represent Sonar at major AI coding and developer events.
•Create and deliver sales enablement content and positioning to help sales succeed in AI-driven deals.
•Coordinate go-to-market alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales, Demand Gen, Customer Success, PR, and Analyst Relations, and track the competitive landscape.

Key Requirements

•10+ years in Product Marketing within DevOps, AppSec, or Enterprise Software, including 2+ years at Principal level or higher.
•Strong technical depth with an engineering degree or equivalent technical background, including understanding of the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
•Regular, hands-on experience with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, or similar) and an informed point of view on how AI agents change software engineering.
•Proven ability to deliver presentations directly to customers and speak at AI coding or developer conferences, serving as a public face of the product.
•Experience building enablement programs that motivate sales teams, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.
