Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform inspections and diagnostics on GSE and MHE during turn-in processing.
  • •Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance per Army maintenance standards and applicable TMs.
  • •Service and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and troubleshoot faults using Army-approved diagnostic tools.
  • •Record maintenance and inspection results using DA Form 2404/5988-E and Army systems such as GCSS-Army; update condition codes and maintenance records in compliance with ISO 9001:2015.
  • •Adhere to OSHA, Army, and company safety policies and support turn-in operations by coordinating with supply/material teams and preparing equipment for shipment, storage, or redistribution.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent (vocational/technical certification in mechanical or electrical maintenance desired).
  • •3–5 years of hands-on experience in GSE or MHE maintenance (Army or contractor environment preferred).
  • •Familiarity with Army maintenance standards, technical manuals (TMs), and property accountability requirements.
  • •Experience performing preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) for GSE/MHE.
  • •Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and read TMs/schematics and maintenance work orders.
