Job Summary

Serve as the bridge between Service Owners and Finance, translating service performance into financial insights and enabling shared commercial and financial objectives. Align service contracts/SLAs with pricing, margins, and cost recovery, support business cases and cost-optimization opportunities, and monitor KPI-to-financial outcomes. Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial closing (accruals, reconciliations, reporting), ensure compliance with IFRS/HGB and policies, and present performance updates to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the interface between Service Owners and Finance, translating service data into financial insights and facilitating regular financial reviews.
•Align service contracts/SLAs with financial implications (pricing, margins, cost recovery) and provide guidance for business cases, investments, and cost optimization.
•Manage and develop commercial service activities in line with Allianz Technology’s business strategy, supporting commercial strategy execution.
•Monitor service performance against KPIs and connect them to financial outcomes; oversee cost allocation variances and validate service charges.
•Support budgeting/forecasting and perform financial closing activities (accruals, reconciliations) and management reporting, ensuring compliance with internal policies and IFRS/HGB.

Key Requirements

•Ability to understand both service delivery and financial controlling principles and communicate effectively across technical/operational and finance teams.
•5+ years of experience in commercial, service management, financial controlling, or related roles, including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting in a service environment.
•Strong commercial/business acumen with an analytical mindset to interpret data and turn it into recommendations and process improvements.
•Hands-on proficiency with ERP and financial reporting tools, including SAP, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
•Knowledge of cost allocation/transfer pricing or intercompany charging mechanisms and accounting standards (IFRS/HGB).
