Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the people scheduling and coordinating activities of the Supervisor Plant Shutdowns.
  • •Coordinate daily operational activities aligned to planned development and production forecasts and budgets.
  • •Foster continuous improvement by identifying, evaluating, and implementing improvement opportunities using Rio Tinto best practices.
  • •Pro-actively coordinate and support planned shutdown execution activities, including prioritising emerging and break-in work with logistics, labour, and materials.
  • •Provide technical and safety support to shutdown supervisors and maintainers, including coaching and mentoring to Fixed Plant Shutdowns. Assist with Contractor Management Systems when required.

  • •A Current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Driver's Licence (Manual).
  • •Relevant trade qualification (mechanical, electrical, fabrication) (preferred).
  • •Experience with maintenance systems and shutdown management, including SAP and Prometheus, plus fixed plant shutdown experience and contractor management experience.
