Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and lead the direct assignment of work and safety controls to hourly personnel
  • •Ensure correct operation of equipment for quality assurance and availability for on-time delivery
  • •Report breakdowns and equipment repair needs to maintenance as they occur
  • •Work closely with inside and outside support personnel to coordinate mill activity
  • •Handle safety responsibilities including prompt corrections, proactively seeking safety concerns, and monitoring safety programs

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent
  • •Experience leading a union-represented hourly workforce
  • •Associate's degree in a technical field
  • •Previous experience in the EAF and AOD processes
  • •Ability to work shifts, including weekends, as required
