Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct remote intake assessments and follow-up therapy sessions with adults (18+) physically located in California.
  • •Determine clinical appropriateness throughout the care relationship and establish/update treatment goals using independent judgment.
  • •Review Sonia interval summaries before appointments when available and correct inaccuracies.
  • •Complete timely, clinically appropriate documentation after each visit.
  • •Assess and respond to safety concerns via escalation, referral, transfer, or discharge when a different level of care is needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Active, unrestricted California license as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Licensed Psychologist.
  • •Authorization to practice independently without clinical supervision.
  • •Doctoral-level clinicians: at least 1 year of independent clinical practice (3+ preferred); Master’s-level clinicians: at least 3 years.
  • •Experience providing individual psychotherapy to adults, including via telehealth.
  • •Strong assessment, risk-management, and documentation skills, plus professional liability insurance.
