Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as final escalation point for complex automation, controls, electrical, fabrication, and facility failures before engineering or external support.
  • •Lead advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting for AS/RS, shuttle systems, goods-to-person automation, sortation equipment, and integrated material handling platforms.
  • •Troubleshoot facility infrastructure including power distribution, dock systems, building mechanical systems, and safety-critical assets.
  • •Perform and oversee light-to-medium fabrication and repair work (cutting, drilling, grinding, welding, bracket/guard fabrication) and coordinate vendor work as needed.
  • •Conduct root cause analysis for major downtime events and chronic failures, develop corrective actions, and influence preventive maintenance strategy and documentation standards.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED; advanced technical education preferred.
  • •7+ years of progressive industrial maintenance experience in highly automated environments.
  • •Extensive hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting automated material handling systems (AS/RS, sortation, shuttle, conveyors).
  • •Hands-on troubleshooting and repairing industrial hydraulic systems, preferably including balers/compactors or similar equipment.
  • •Strong electrical, controls, and facility systems background with CMMS proficiency and maintenance documentation discipline.
