Key Responsibilities

  • •Understand NEC objectives and operate NEC PSC and/or ECC contracts to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to industry standards.
  • •Lead end-to-end execution planning and management, including procurement and contract strategies, estimates, and decision-making.
  • •Manage project performance reporting using project controls tools, including earned value and quantitative risk analysis; raise early warnings for delays and compensation events.
  • •Coordinate integrated delivery across design, development, construction, commissioning, testing, and handover; support post-project reviews and benefits realisation.
  • •Provide people and internal management accountabilities: line manage Project Managers, maintain learning plans, coach junior staff, and support bid development and knowledge management.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a relevant third level qualification, preferably in engineering or a related project management discipline.
  • •Have at least 10 years of experience managing large or multiple infrastructure/capital projects and teams.
  • •Demonstrate knowledge and experience of project management, contract management (NEC3/NEC4/FIDIC or similar), and construction delivery best practice.
  • •Have disciplined project controls skills and a proven ability to implement and execute programmes, driving performance.
  • •Be chartered/qualified with APM, ICE, RICS etc., and have the right to work in Ireland and UK.
