Job Summary

Operate, monitor, and optimize extrusion installations that produce high-quality polypropylene and polyethylene from circular plastics. Work in a 5-shift system and support the Shift Supervisor with day-to-day process control, interpreting production data and intervening during deviations and malfunctions. Troubleshoot quickly, guide the breakdown service, perform safe maintenance using Lockout/Tagout, and contribute to continuous improvements in process efficiency, quality, reliability, and safety culture.

•Operate, monitor, and set extrusion installations for production of circular plastics.
•Interpret and evaluate production data, adjusting the process when needed.
•Perform production-site tasks such as loading/unloading materials, preparing work, and assembling equipment.
•Troubleshoot process and equipment malfunctions quickly and effectively; support and guide the breakdown service.
•Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, procedures, and plant safety culture, including maintenance and technical inspections.

Key Requirements

•Completed technical education at least MBO level, preferably in mechanical engineering, mechanical technology, or Vapro B.
•Proven knowledge and work experience with extrusion processes.
•Good understanding of production processes and experience with continuous improvement activities.
•Able to perform technical maintenance safely within your authorization.
•Good command of Dutch and English; German is a plus. Willing to work in a 5-shift system and hold (or be willing to obtain) a Vca certificate.
