Job Summary

Manage and improve the operational performance of key suppliers in Gorgonzola by partnering with Procurement, Industrial, Engineering, Services, and Quality teams. Lead supplier improvement plans focused on on-time delivery and product conformity, define and control SKPI targets, deploy corrective/preventive actions, and use continuous improvement methods such as lean, Six Sigma/DMAIC, and PFMEA. Coordinate supplier performance reviews, reporting, and risk mitigation activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage operational performance for selected suppliers in partnership with Procurement, Industrial, Engineering, Services, and Quality teams.
•Initiate supplier quality and on-time delivery improvement plans during execution.
•Define, control, and report SKPI objectives (e.g., punctuality/quality), including monthly reporting and participation in performance committees.
•Deploy corrective and preventive action plans to address process/product/component alerts and improve the Thales–supplier interface.
•Use continuous improvement techniques (lean, Six Sigma/DMAIC, PFMEA) to identify potential failures, prioritize actions, and mitigate risk.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of industry experience in supply chain.
•Demonstrated history leading performance improvement projects, preferably in Defence, Aerospace, or Security.
•Knowledge of Quality Management principles and systems.
•Supply chain engineering experience in low to medium volume or light mechanical/electro-mechanical production environments.
•Awareness and practical use of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing; experience with operational management, manufacturing, and ERP systems (routings, BOMs, etc.).
