Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide first-line legal support, advice, and assistance to the Group Technology division on legal and compliance matters.
  • •Review, draft, and negotiate technology, IP, data, and e-commerce related agreements/terms while meeting legal and compliance requirements.
  • •Make clear, commercially focused recommendations on commercial contract issues and escalate non-standard aspects.
  • •Act as a liaison between commercial colleagues and Group Director - Legal, with reporting to senior legal and technology finance stakeholders.
  • •Represent DP World positively, ensuring safety and adherence to Code of Conduct and Ethics, and perform other related duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Law degree from an accredited university (England & Wales preferred; commonwealth qualified considered).
  • •Qualification to practice law from a recognized legal regulatory body.
  • •Minimum 8 years post-qualification experience in an internationally recognized law firm and/or multinational company (different PQE considered).
  • •Preferably have experience working in the Middle East region.
  • •Ability to negotiate legal issues and transaction documentation effectively with counterparties.
