Job Summary

Join the Boeing Defense Air Dominance Systems Safety & Mission Assurance team supporting F-15 Fighter programs. Lead and validate aircraft safety and airworthiness activities, create and maintain safety tools/processes, and document hazard analysis and verification in line with customer and regulatory standards. Execute system/airplane-level analyses (AFHA/SFHA, FTA, ZSA, and more) and provide safety design expertise and certification strategy support for program stakeholders and leadership.

•Lead defining and validating safety, mission success, and airworthiness; support incorporation into designs, operations, and procedures.
•Create and maintain aerospace safety and mission assurance tools and processes.
•Document safety analysis, hazard mitigation, validation and verification activities to meet customer and regulatory safety standards.
•Execute system and airplane level analyses including AFHA/SFHA, Common Resource Analysis, MFTA, FDAL, CMA, PRA, and ZSA.
•Provide safety design and analysis expertise, develop certification strategies, and coordinate safety analyses and functional integration assessments.

Salary: USD 107,100 - 178,250 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry (or non-US equivalent) related to the work.
•Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience (or equivalent education/experience).
•3+ years of experience in aerospace systems or structures.
•Level 4: 9+ years of related work experience (or equivalent education/experience).
•Strong background in aircraft systems design/operations and safety analysis; experience with MIL-STD 882, JSSSEH, and/or DO-178/DO-254 is highly desirable.
