Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and maintain the ammonia refrigeration system.
  • •Perform electrical and mechanical preventative and predictive maintenance as assigned.
  • •Complete daily log sheets and communicate effectively with the team.
  • •Be proactive in daily plant operations to support maximum efficiency, product quality, and capacity.
  • •Assist with maintaining a relevant and accurate mechanical inventory while following safety, food safety, attendance, GMP, and company policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 6 months of documented mechanic work experience, or graduate of an industrial maintenance training program/HVAC-R program, or completion of CIRO.CARO certification (ammonia system experience required if not trained).
  • •Knowledge of refrigeration experience with certifications preferred.
  • •Industrial maintenance experience.
  • •Required basic electrical troubleshooting experience, including troubleshooting electrical circuits.
  • •Ability to work overtime and weekends.
