Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient obstetrics and gynecology services.
  • •Assess, diagnose, and manage routine and high-risk obstetric cases, including emergency situations.
  • •Conduct antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care in line with international best practices.
  • •Diagnose and manage gynecological conditions, and perform obstetric/gynecological procedures and surgeries within approved privileges.
  • •Interpret diagnostic investigations (including ultrasound and laboratory findings), collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, maintain clinical documentation, and ensure informed consent and patient safety.

Key Requirements

  • •Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB, MD, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • •Completion of a recognized residency training program in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
  • •Specialist qualification recognized by the Department of Health (DOH), Abu Dhabi.
  • •Eligibility for or holding an active DOH License as a Specialist Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
  • •Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization experience in a tertiary care hospital or equivalent healthcare setting.
