Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct tax engagement responsibilities by allocating operational and compliance tasks and ensuring alignment with engagement timelines, budgets, and objectives.
  • •Manage multiple client engagements concurrently, overseeing staff workload and efficient project execution.
  • •Plan, coordinate, and review corporate tax compliance, including federal, state, local, and international filings.
  • •Provide strategic guidance on complex tax matters, including mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and international tax planning.
  • •Supervise and develop tax staff (3–5 direct reports), including quality reviews, coaching, and leading training sessions on tax compliance and emerging regulations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 197,800 - 255,904 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field (or foreign equivalent).
  • •5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in tax/accounting roles.
  • •Experience must include corporate and/or individual income tax laws and regulations, including U.S. GAAP.
  • •Experience delivering tax compliance engagements in public accounting (or a mix of industry and public accounting).
  • •Must live within a commutable distance to the assigned Grant Thornton office to work 3 days per week in-office.
