Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop backend automation that integrates metadata sources and generates governed artifacts such as data contracts for review, editing, and publication.
  • •Design and build agent-enabled applications and workflows, including MCP servers and tools like a data-contract generator or data-readiness assessment utility.
  • •Build user-facing interfaces for platform and data discovery workflows.
  • •Deliver production-quality services with strong API design, testing, and CI/CD practices.
  • •Collaborate with data engineering and governance partners to make data discoverable, trustworthy, and easy to consume across the platform.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • •6+ years of software engineering focused on fullstack development.
  • •Experience using AI-powered tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity and code quality.
  • •Strong Python engineering skills including API/service design (e.g., FastAPI), asynchronous programming, and schema validation (Pydantic/JSON Schema).
  • •Proficiency building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices, including unit/integration testing and CI/CD practices.
