Key Responsibilities

•Monitor and optimize the cost-efficiency of packaging activities and support performance-improvement initiatives (labor, materials, energy, maintenance).
•Assist the Performance Manager in establishing and tracking cost-related KPIs; ensure clear LE forecasting for packaging activities; support budgeting and forecasting.
•Identify cost-saving opportunities via benchmarking, Best Practices and GOP reviews; define and track improvement actions using the KPI/PI framework.
•Collaborate with the Process Engineer and packaging team to assess financial impact of process changes; work with procurement and supply chain to optimize material use and reduce waste.
•Lead production planning cost analysis with Area Managers to define cost-saving initiatives; monitor labor hours/costs vs output and LE volumes; prepare management cost-performance reports.

Key Requirements

•Strong cost management experience in packaging or manufacturing environments, with a focus on cost optimization across labor, materials, energy and maintenance.
•Experience setting, tracking and forecasting cost-related KPIs (LE, KPI/PI trees, productivity, losses, E&F) and supporting budget planning.
•Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities via benchmarking, Best Practices and GOP reviews while maintaining quality and safety.
•Proven collaboration skills with Process Engineers, procurement and supply chain to optimize material usage and reduce waste.
•Proactive, analytically minded team player with excellent communication skills in Dutch and English; able to work independently and drive continuous PI/KPI improvements.
