Job Summary

Lead the preparation and review of Netflix’s global tax provisions under ASC 740, owning quarterly and annual calculations, disclosures, cash tax and effective tax rate forecasting, and analysis of financial statement impacts. Maintain and improve provision documentation and workpapers to support external audit and SOX 404 compliance. Drive efficiency by identifying enhancements to systems and tools, while partnering across Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, and Tax teams and managing a high-performing group.

•Prepare and review quarterly and annual global provision calculations and disclosures under ASC 740.
•Manage internal cash tax and effective tax rate forecasting processes.
•Analyze and communicate global income tax results, including legislative changes, uncertain tax positions, return-to-provision adjustments, and significant transactions.
•Maintain and enhance documentation/workpapers and support external audit and SOX 404 compliance.
•Identify and implement improvements in systems, AI tools, and processes; collaborate cross-functionally and lead a high-performing team.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 230,000 - 350,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Certified Public Accountant; Master’s in Tax or Accounting preferred.
•8+ years of progressive corporate tax experience, including public accounting and/or corporate tax department roles.
•Deep technical knowledge of ASC 740 for domestic, foreign, and cross-border tax regimes.
•Hands-on experience managing and improving end-to-end global provision processes for complex multinational public companies.
•Administrator-level experience with OneSource Tax Provision, including platform/workpaper management and configuration/rollforward tasks.
