Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently lead architectural design, embedded development, and verification of safety-critical CCU software components.
  • •Direct implementation of charge control systems and act as primary technical authority for embedded software interfacing with high-voltage components and circuitry.
  • •Serve as a Certification Authority by decomposing item requirements into high- and low-level software requirements in strict compliance with DO-178C (DAL-A/B).
  • •Architect and oversee fault detection and diagnostic algorithms to mitigate hardware-level events and ensure aircraft safety.
  • •Analyze hardware schematics, signal integrity, and power distribution networks to set embedded software constraints and define hardware-software ICDs; mentor engineers and conduct final reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics.
  • •60 months of experience designing and developing safety-critical embedded software using C/C++.
  • •Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and debugging.
  • •Experience with communication protocols including CAN, SPI, or I2C.
  • •Demonstrated ability to lead embedded software requirements and verification processes in compliance with aerospace safety standards (DO-178C/DAL-A/B).
