Job Summary

Dev/Ops engineer supporting FX and FI electronic market making and order management systems. You will operate production apps, manage market venues and client onboarding, develop Python tools for quant trading analysis, handle incident resolution across 24/5.5 production environments, run SQL/KDB queries for stakeholders, and participate in weekend upgrades and rotation to ensure trading continuity.

Key Responsibilities

•Day-to-day operation of FX and FI electronic market making and order management systems.
•Manage market venue and client onboarding for the FX system.
•Develop Python tooling for quant trading analysis and daily operation.
•Front-line support of 24/5.5 production for FX and FI systems, including incident resolution, maintenance and deployment of applications.
•Produce and query SQL/KDB data for ad-hoc information requests and problem resolution.

Key Requirements

•Experience in FX or Fix Income low latency/electronic trading systems.
•Strong skills in UNIX/Linux, networking, SQL/KDB, and at least one programming language (Java, C++, Python).
•Understanding of production management (ITIL) concepts.
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (CS/Maths/Physics/Finance) with good written and verbal communication skills.
•Experience in providing support/development for a trading desk, ideally in a tier 1 investment bank or hedge fund.
