Job Summary

Own manufacturing equipment support for hot line operations by improving uptime, reliability, capability, and throughput. Provide technical leadership to maintenance teams for troubleshooting and root-cause resolution, and develop cost-effective equipment strategies. Lead technical ownership of manufacturing systems and contribute to Capex projects and biannual outages. Mentor hourly and salary personnel, gather operator and plant-floor input, and implement long-term mitigation plans to address the biggest breakdown causes.

•Provide technical support to maintenance operations to increase effectiveness of troubleshooting and failure recovery.
•Create equipment strategies that enable cost-effective maintenance and long-term mitigation planning.
•Take technical ownership of manufacturing equipment and systems.
•Lead technical expertise for Capex projects and biannual outages, and mentor salary and hourly personnel.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
•5 to 8 years of mechanical (maintenance) engineering experience.
•AutoCad experience.
•Experience with cranes, hydraulics, pumps, and other rotating equipment.
•Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and apply root cause analysis in a manufacturing environment (preferably metals).
