Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as APAC regional technical authority for cased hole petrophysical evaluation, providing advisory and escalation support for complex interpretation and logging program design.
  • •Lead and support advanced interpretation of cased hole logging measurements, including pulsed neutron analyses, behind-casing gas/fluid identification, formation contact monitoring, and reservoir depletion/water encroachment monitoring.
  • •Integrate cased hole logging results with open hole logs, production data, reservoir models, and pressure data to deliver actionable reservoir insights and support surveillance programs.
  • •Provide technical advisory support to country wireline teams across job planning, acquisition troubleshooting, and interpretation, including pre-job reviews and post-job evaluations.
  • •Engage clients with technical presentations, interpretation reviews, and workshops; promote regional best practices and conduct peer reviews/audits for technical governance, mentorship, and training.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university (preferred) or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • •7–10 years of working experience in the APAC region in various senior petrophysicist positions.
  • •Excellent communication skills in English, including verbal and written communication.
  • •Strong customer relationship skills and presentation skills for engagements and key events/conferences.
  • •Experience supporting advanced cased hole petrophysical evaluation, interpretation, and reservoir surveillance activities.
