Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage Specialty Merchant Acquirer supplemental licensing and registration of the Payment Facilitators.
  • •Identify risk levels of Acquirers and Payment Facilitators and follow escalation processes for conditional approvals or declines.
  • •Design internal and external reports to identify poor performance areas requiring urgent attention.
  • •Engage customers when there are performance issues, including rule violations, and help drive compliance with local laws and Mastercard Standards.
  • •Sell and deliver consulting engagements (trainings, performance optimization projects, mandatory FMP reviews) to optimize acquirer performance.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in the payments industry, specifically merchant acquiring operations, product management, or fraud management.
  • •Experience with acquirers’ operations including onboarding of merchants and Payment Facilitators, fraud and/or merchant compliance with scheme standards.
  • •Knowledge of transaction processing, fraud management, and understanding of scheme rules, plus familiarity with market dynamics across Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to business and technical audiences.
  • •Fluency in English and ability to travel frequently to countries in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa.
