Key Responsibilities

  • •Define architecture and technical approaches for backend and AI platform capabilities supporting AI and agentic applications.
  • •Lead complex AI and platform initiatives end-to-end, coordinating engineers, teams, and stakeholders from concept to production.
  • •Design and build agentic systems including agent routing, orchestration, tool use, evaluations, runtime infrastructure, sandboxing, and agent-to-agent communication.
  • •Build and evolve shared platform infrastructure and distributed, data-intensive backend services/APIs that enable reliable AI workloads at scale.
  • •Establish evaluation, monitoring, reliability/safety, and observability approaches for agentic output; integrate AI agents with internal and third-party enterprise platforms.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including operating at Staff or equivalent scope.
  • •Substantial recent experience focused on generative AI or agentic systems, and leading complex AI/agentic/platform initiatives from concept through production.
  • •Extensive hands-on experience building and operating agentic systems (agents, routing/orchestration, tool use, evaluations, runtimes, sandboxing, related infrastructure).
  • •Deep expertise in Python and backend engineering for large-scale distributed systems, services, APIs, and data-intensive workflows.
  • •Experience with modern AI/LLM frameworks, evaluation/observability for AI/agentic systems, and building production systems on Kubernetes and SaaS environments.
