Job Summary

Lead an ambitious AI and digital health evidence and learning agenda for the Exemplars in Global Health program. Drive implementation research and evidence generation on how AI-enabled digital solutions strengthen health systems and primary care, while synthesizing findings to shape investment and priorities. As part of the EGH leadership team, manage a multidisciplinary sub-team, partner with global stakeholders, and help advance responsible and equitable AI for underserved populations.

Key Responsibilities

•Own EGH contributions in AI and digital health, serving as a trusted advisor on strategy, evidence, and impact.
•Lead implementation research and evidence generation on how AI and digital health strengthen health systems and primary health care delivery.
•Synthesize complex evidence to shape investment and research priorities, ensuring outputs inform policy and program design.
•Lead a sub-team of technical experts, fostering analytical rigor, technical excellence, and a high-performing inclusive team culture.
•Build and manage strategic partnerships with external stakeholders and communicate AI/digital health concepts to diverse audiences.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 238,400 - 303,900 annually

Key Requirements

•15+ years of domain expertise in digital deployment within health systems and service delivery, including experience with AI-enabled tools.
•5+ years in leadership roles with significant management responsibility, including building and managing senior-level teams, with budget oversight.
•Strong research and MLE background on the effectiveness of digital and AI in health, with research focus on health systems and primary health care preferred.
•Experience translating evidence and technical insights into actionable recommendations for policymakers and other decision-makers.
•Experience leading research and learning efforts, including research methods, evidence synthesis, and analytical approaches (with experience in low- and middle-income countries strongly preferred).
