Job Summary

Drive a truck equipped with an auxiliary concrete mixer to deliver concrete mix to job sites in a safe, compliant manner. Inspect the truck and complete required check-off paperwork, follow DOT hours-of-service and licensing requirements, and unload safely. Monitor concrete consistency and cleanliness, operate chute and controls, adjust for load weight, and complete delivery documentation. Maintain safety and adhere to the Safety and Employee Manuals, while cleaning and preparing the truck and drum after each run.

Key Responsibilities

•Comply with Department of Transportation requirements, including licensing, vehicle inspection, and hours of service.
•Inspect the truck at the start of each workday and complete the Driver Check-off Sheet.
•Drive to job sites for safe unloading and delivery.
•Back the truck under batching/loading hopper to receive concrete and view/inspect the load and drum for cleanliness.
•Clean the truck after loading and delivery, including spraying surfaces with an acid compound as required, and read/comply with Safety and Employee Manuals.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Must have a Class A or Class B CDL.
•Must be 18 years or older.
•Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
•Ability to read and interpret delivery tickets, safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; communicate with customers or employees.
