Job Summary

Maintain and enhance computational pipeline monitoring (CPM) and transient-model leak detection systems for liquid petroleum pipelines. Provide real-time support to Operations Control, troubleshoot abnormal leak detection conditions, and analyze CPM/SCADA data to improve alarm performance and operational reliability. Develop custom applications and technical practices, collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders on system upgrades and interfaces, and support training and hydraulic modeling used to assess leak signatures.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze, develop, implement, and maintain CPM, leak detection, and pipeline simulation systems to meet business and regulatory requirements.
•Provide 24/7 control room support and maintain real-time support for Operations Control, including on-call rotation.
•Analyze CPM and SCADA data, review alarms and KPIs, and prepare reports; perform leak size calculations and update records.
•Troubleshoot abnormal leak detection conditions and participate in incident investigations, performing model/configuration and procedural action items as needed.
•Develop custom applications and technical practices for leak detection and pipeline hydraulics, collaborate with vendors on upgrades/testing, and develop training materials.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 110,000 - 166,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Computer Science.
•At least 4 years of related work experience.
•Experience with Python, Java, PowerShell (and building/maintaining CPM, leak detection, and simulation systems).
•Aptitude in hydraulics, leak detection technologies, statistical analysis, measurement/instrumentation, and/or SCADA.
•Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while providing operations support.
